When you compare prices for wedding DJs here in northern New England, this is what you’ll find: For a typical 5-hour wedding reception, most professional entertainment vendors will offer quotes of anywhere from $2000 to $3500 or more just for their standard package.
Here’s our commitment: Our standard wedding reception packages will always start at $1199. We’ll work with you and your budget to find the right quote for your wedding. We don’t have arbitrary minimums, we don’t force you to choose crazy add-ons, and we respect your budget.
Our most popular package (including ceremony service) is usually quoted around $1599. Our standard reception package will always be quoted at less than $1200. Additional options like ceremony service, extended time, enhanced lighting, additional sound setups or multi-venue sound locations will increase our quote. Find out what we offer here.
We also make our services as budget-friendly as possible by including things like travel and setup/breakdown time as a part of our services, meaning you won’t pay extra for anything outside of our performance. For example, if your wedding starts at 4pm and ends at 10pm, you’ll need a 6-hour package. It’s that simple! We don’t charge extra for travel time, setup time, breakdown time, and we don’t have any other hidden fees along the way either. We always arrive several hours before our start time to load in, set up, and perform sound checks, before our “time” starts.
Travel is included for all venues accessible via mainland roads within 100 miles from Portland, Maine or within 50 miles of Bangor, Maine. A small travel fee might be required for venues outside of those areas.
Our DJs have performed for hundreds and hundreds of couples across New England since the 1980s. We completely understand that having the right entertainment at your wedding is important, but managing costs is important too.
Unless you want us to fly out and stay overnight on an island somewhere, we’re always going to quote you a price starting at less than $1200. Why? Because we believe that you should have a great wedding at the right price, and we know what we charge is more than fair. Our prices are based on what it reasonably costs us to provide the service to you, without a mortgage or car payment thrown on top. Our most popular packages include ceremony service, and start at $1599. If you want to add options like custom uplighting or split room systems at your venue, those options will increase your quote above our standard package rate. Our standard package rates do not apply to locations inaccessible by mainland roads (like outlying islands or mountaintop venues), or to events at venues more than 100 miles from Portland or 50 miles from Bangor.
